One very visible thing that makes Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church special is the way that our congregation reaches out into the community and faithfully participates in the ministries of the church. We feed people clothe them, pray for them, help them get back on their feet, and so much more. We connect them to God through Jesus Christ with our love and service…outside the walls of the church. Here are some examples of the good we do:

  • Care Ministry providing home-cooked meals, calls and cards to the ill

  • Beach Food Pantry

  • Local, national and international mission trips

  • Room in the Inn

  • Food for Thought

  • Bible Studies which are open to the community

  •  Stephen Ministry training and service

  • Intercessory prayer team

  • Wednesday night free meal that is open to the community
