Chancel Choir The chancel choir provides a special ministry for our church during our 11:00am worship services. It offers traditional and classical selections each Sunday throughout the year. Twice a year the choir presents a larger musical work for the celebration of Christmas and Easter. The Chancel Choir is open to all adults who have a desire to sing and a willingness to learn. The ability to read music is helpful, but certainly not required. Choir Rehearsal takes place weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the choir room in our Education Building. Children’s Choir - (Ringers and Singers) Our children’s choir provide special music monthly, during our Sunday morning worship services. Each quarter they alternate singing and ringing hand bells which are color coded. All children ages five and up are invited to attend practices held on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the choir room in the education building. 8:30 Choir The 8:30 choir provides special music each Sunday during our Early Worship Services. The choir offers traditional music with more simple harmonies. The choir welcomes any adults that enjoy music and singing for the Lord. Practices occur at 8:00am each Sunday in the sanctuary, prior to Early Worship Services. Praise Band This group of vocalists and instrumentalists provide special music for our contemporary services on Monday evenings at 7:00pm. The band, consisting of adults and youth, provides our church with contemporary, Christian music on Monday nights and special services and events throughout the year. Those interested in singing or playing instruments are invited to practices which take place prior to Monday night services, at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. |
