Special events are planned throughout the year for all members of the church and their families. These events provide a time of fellowship and incorporate all groups within the extended family of the church.

Sunday Morning Social
Every Sunday between worship services (at 9:30) families enjoy this special time to visit and socialize in the Fellowship Hall. Assorted donuts, coffee, and juice are provided. Afterward children and adults head off to their Sunday School classes.

Valentines Dinner
This special dinner takes place each year during the month of February. A delicious Italian Dinner is prepared by many volunteers and served by our youth. The Fellowship Hall is carefully decorated and transformed into a more intimate, restaurant setting. Tickets are sold by our Youth for a nominal fee and “reservations” can be made for an early or later seating.

Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration
This special event takes place each year on the Saturday before Palm Sunday. Many games, crafts, and other activities take place before the Big Egg Hunt, when children are divided into age appropriate groups to find over 1,000 Easter Eggs. There is also a Silent Auction sponsored by the church Preschool for the parents. The morning concludes with a luncheon for the children and their families.

Fall Family Picnic
This church wide event takes place in early fall each year. Activities and games are planned for all ages. Sack races, Putting Contests, Pumpkin toss, Face Painting and Water Balloon Launches are just some of the festivities! Of course, delicious food and Christian music is enjoyed by all.

Family Christmas Festival
This special family night takes place in early December in our Fellowship Hall. The highlight of the evening is a special drama/musical event presented by the children of the church. A family style covered dish dinner is served afterwards and following dinner Santa arrives with a special nativity gift for every child.

Hanging of the Greens/Church Decorating Service
Families are invited to come on the Sunday evening before Advent to help decorate our sanctuary and church building. There are jobs for everyone, as we hang Chrismons on the tree, and adorn the building with wreaths, greenery, and lights. Join us in the sanctuary for music and a brief service that explains the symbols of Christmas. You will also have the opportunity to make your own advent wreath to take home. After the decorating is complete, a soup and sandwich dinner is served. (Children are also invited, as they complete a special Chrismon or Christmas craft.)


Other covered dish dinners are planned periodically throughout the year to coincide with special musical guests and speakers.
