Plans are well underway for the 150th Anniversary of Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church. This is an exciting time in the life of our church. Various events will be taking place leading up to the celebration weekend planned for September 13th-14th.
We are excited to have several pastors that have previously served at KHUMC as part of the celebration. On those designated Sundays, which are listed below, a congregational brunch will be served between services in honor of our former pastors. Put these important dates on your calendar and plan to be a part of the wonderful festivities!

Service of Re-dedication presided over by Bishop Alfred Gwinn at 8:30 and 11:00, with an outside luncheon after the 11:00 service.
Please bring a family sized covered dish to share.( In case of inclement weather luncheon will be held in Fellowship Hall)

In celebration of our 150th anniversary, a wonderful new cookbook that contains recipies from our members, and historical pictures and info, is currently being published and will be available early summer. Look for details in upcoming newsletters regarding our 150 Years of Following the Son Cookbook!
